Job Site Sanitation for Houston Construction Projects

Houston crews work through long, hot, humid summers, so clean and serviced restrooms are a jobsite necessity. On a new development or a renovation in the urban core, your crew needs sanitation, power and security on day one, well before the permanent building can provide any of them. Rentals To Go covers that gap with:
Standard portable toilets and ADA-accessible units
Sink stations for handwashing
Temporary fence to secure the site
Generators and light towers
Storage containers, bunk trailers
and command centers for longer projects

How many toilets does a job site need?
The OSHA construction sanitation standard,
29 CFR 1926.51, sets the minimums. A crew of 20 or fewer needs at least one toilet. Larger crews need one toilet seat and one urinal for every 40 workers, and crews over 200 need one of each for every 50. Tell us your headcount and schedule, and we’ll size the order and set up servicing for the length of the project.

Event Restroom Rentals in Houston

Houston’s mild fall and spring weather fills the calendar with outdoor weddings, festivals, graduation parties, church events, cook-offs and movie nights in the park. For a small backyard party, a few portable toilets and a sink station may be all you need. For a wedding or a VIP area, a restroom trailer gives guests a more comfortable experience. For large crowds, our vac flush units offer high-capacity sanitation.

Planning an event on City property? Know the rules first.
Events in a City of Houston park or on a City street need a permit from the
Mayor’s Office of Special Events. The City’s special event requisites say the event producer must provide portable toilets based on projected attendance:

1 unit per 300 people
At least 10% of units must be wheelchair accessible

For portable toilets placed in a City park, the Houston Parks and Recreation Department’s
portable toilet agreement requires cleaning at least twice a week and placement on or near a paved surface. Some downtown plazas have their own requirements: Houston First’s outdoor venue checklist asks for your portable toilet order two weeks before the event. Send us your attendance estimate and we’ll quote the right mix of standard and ADA units.
