Throwing a Party at an Arlington Park Pavilion?

The City of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department has 30 rentable pavilions in 27 parks, and they don’t all have restrooms. River Legacy Park has restrooms in the center of the park. Smaller neighborhood parks like B.C. Barnes Park and Eden Road Park have none at the pavilion, and the City notes that portable restrooms can be rented for an additional cost. Before you book, ask Parks customer service (817-459-5473) how restrooms work at your pavilion. That way your guests at a birthday party, reunion or graduation cookout aren’t left looking for one.

For larger park gatherings, Veterans Park in west Arlington has a pavilion with a 180-person maximum capacity and a bandshell. Events at that size are where a few extra standard units and a sink station make the biggest difference.

Special Event Permits Are Now Online

If you’re planning a festival, street event or other large gathering, Arlington moved its special event and temporary outdoor permits to ArlingtonPermits.com in August 2025. Events held entirely on private church or school district property and hosted by the property owner generally don’t need an event permit. Book your restrooms as soon as your date is set, so your rental is confirmed by the time your permit is approved.

Rentals To Go can supply the mix for any size event. Weddings near Tierra Verde Golf Club call for a restroom trailer. Corporate events in the Entertainment District often pair trailers with vac flush units. Outdoor events near Caelum Moor or Levitt Pavilion are well served by standard units, ADA units and sink stations. For sites with no sewer hookup, we also rent holding tanks.
